Brand Audit Scorecard
Brand Audit Scorecard
Evaluate Your Brand & Know What to Fix Next
Find out what’s working, what’s creating gaps, and where to focus your brand next.
When you’re too close to your own brand, it can be hard to tell what actually needs attention. Maybe your visuals look polished, but your messaging still feels unclear. Maybe everything works when you’re the one creating it, but your team struggles to keep it consistent.
The Brand Audit Scorecard gives you a structured way to step back and look at your brand as a whole—not just your logo or social media.
You’ll review your brand across five key areas:
Brand Foundation
Evaluate your positioning, client clarity, competitive position, mission, vision, values, and offer structure.
Visual Identity
Review your logo system, color palette, typography, imagery, supporting brand assets, and brand guidelines.
Brand Experience
Look at how your brand shows up across digital, print, physical spaces, in-person interactions, and the customer journey.
Messaging
Assess your core message, messaging pillars, voice and tone, language rules, and consistency across touchpoints.
Consistency & Systems
See how well your brand is managed behind the scenes—from ownership and approvals to team onboarding, vendor handoffs, and ongoing maintenance.
You’ll walk away with more than a score.
Each area is rated from 0–3, helping you see where your brand is strong and where there may be gaps. Once you’re finished, you’ll have an overall score out of 75—but more importantly, you’ll know which areas deserve your attention first.
Instead of leaving you with a vague “your branding could be better,” the scorecard helps you identify the one or two areas where focused improvements could have the biggest ripple effect.
Use AI for a second perspective
The updated scorecard also includes a copy-and-paste AI brand review prompt.
Provide examples of your real branding—such as your website, guidelines, social media, marketing materials, presentations, or emails—and use AI as a second set of eyes to help spot inconsistencies you may have missed.
AI isn’t meant to replace your own evaluation or the expertise of a brand professional. Instead, you’ll compare its feedback with your own score to get another perspective on where your brand may need attention.
This is a great fit if…
You’ve built your brand over time and aren’t sure what needs attention next
Your branding feels inconsistent, but you can’t quite pinpoint why
Your business has grown beyond the original DIY setup
More people are creating materials for your brand
You’re considering a rebrand
You want to understand the real gaps before starting over
